(Saint Bernadette's spirituality) The Eucharist is for the tormented soul a bath of light and love. It is then that she tastes this word: «Come unto me, you who are sick and weary, and I will give you rest...» 

My Jesus, hide me in your Sacred Heart. It is there in the heart of Jesus that I want to learn to suffer and to love. It is in the heart of Jesus that I will find the sweetness at patience in times of desolation, it is in the heart of Jesus that I will find true consolation.

O my Mother...that my heart, losts in your own, may have no other movement, no other will, no will apart from that of pleasing my divine Master...

Jesus needs to reign in my heart, in my spirit, in my will, even in my entire soul.

Courage, my child, you have found the prescious Pearl that buys the Kingdom of Heaven. Love always what God wills...Desire it always...to Desire it always, to Do it always...That's the great secret of perfection, the key to paradise, the foretaste of the peace of the saints!

O my Jesus, be my strength and my virtue!

O Mary, keep Jesus in my heart.

that Jesus and Mary chose.

The heart of Jesus, with its treasures, is my portion; I will live, I will die in the midst of suffering.
