The house in Lourdes. In this house, just across from the shrine, lives a small team who organizes the summer conference. Here, Fr. Luis Matos, provincial of the South of France Province of the Community of the Beatitudes, is the spiritual guide of the conference, Sr. Caterina Angela is in charge of organizing this large pilgrimmage.
Sr. Marie des Anges from the Beatitudes community of St. Luc, comes regularly to help her out. Elsewhere, many brothers and sisters prepare various activities of the conference: youth camp, children's camp, stands, liturgy, music, etc.
It's a big enterprise, which you can help with by your prayer and intercession. |

Catholique Community of Beatitudes |

|
|
The CATHOLIC COMMUNITY OF THE BEATITUDES is one of the “new communities†born in the Church in the wake of Vatican II and in the Charismatic Renewal. With the same spiritual call, it brings together faithful from all states of life (families, celibates, consecrated brothers and sisters...), all who seek to share a fraternal life, contemplation, as well as missionary activities.
Born in 1973 in France, the Community began with two married couples, and today has become an international reality present on all five continents, in 65 dioceses.
Recognized by the Church at a diocesan level to begin with, the Community is under the guidance the Pontifical Council of the Laity, and under the authority of Msgr. Robert LeGall of Toulouse. She is thus situated at the heart of the universal Church and rooted in the local Church of various dioceses where she is implanted around the world. |
